I felt very guilty about using the Dax daily, it already has 1400 Kms on the odometer, so today I got me one of these. It's a Vespa GTV 250i.e., a commemorative edition for the 60 years of Vespa. It's a great ride, stylish, fast and comfortable. And has a leather seat!

The posts and pictures of your Honda restoration are fantastic! It always gives me hope when I see such involved work that I will be able to maintain my Vespa---far short of the work you had to do.
The new Vespa GTV 250 is a sweet looking scooter. I haven't seen any in person yet but hope too soon at our local Vespa dealer. It should be a real different experience from the little Honda.
